The Sahara desert is one of the most challenging and rewarding environments to shoot in. Light changes dramatically from dawn to dusk, temperatures are extreme, and logistics require precise planning. This production for Bivouac Merzouga required a full day on location — beginning at sunrise for the aerial sequences and ending at golden hour for the ground-level footage. The result is a commercial film that communicates the extraordinary nature of the desert experience without overstating it.
